💢🦵💢 How to eliminate leg cramps 💢🦵💢

I used to have a lot of leg cramps.
Almost every day. And sometimes extremely painful.

Someone recommended to watch out how I'm bending my knees.
So I did, and after a month, the cramps pretty much stopped completely!
For the last 10 years, I don't remember having any leg cramps!
So if you also have this issue, I recommend trying this.

So apparently cramps happen if muscles/veins/nerves are being compressed?
In the case of the knee, this happens when you bend it all the way.
The upper and lower leg is compressed, possibly by your entire body weight.
This doesn't cause cramps immediately. But it makes them more likely overall.
If you stop bending the knee all the way, the cramps should stop too.

Basically avoid sitting/kneeling in a way that fully bends the knee.
You will never see me enter one of these poses, not even for a moment.

crossed-out person squatting crossed-out person sitting on their knees crossed-out person sitting and hugging their legs crossed-out person laying down with legs bent underneath them

(yes, this also means the "slav squat" is not allowed)
But no matter how cool/comfy/cute these may be,
I think it's worth abandoning them just to get rid of cramps.

Below are a bunch of alternative poses which you can still do.
These may be slightly less comfy, and get painful over time.
Still worth it though.

checkmark and person kneeling on both knees checkmark and person kneeling on one knee checkmark and person sitting with legs in front checkmark and person laying with legs stretched

Update: it turns out excessive kneeling is dangerous,
a knee is not designed to carry your full weight.
Use a cushion, such as a piece of foam or a towel.
